Located in the district of Serra do Mel, the Vamcruz windfarm is into operation since 2015. It capacity is of 93 MW.

120m high, the 31 wind turbines will be equipped with Acciona AW3000 turbines with 116m and 125m diameter; they deliver a 3 MW power. The project was developed and financed in partnership with CHESF, a Electrobas subsidiary, and the construction company Encalso.
