Senergy (Sénégal)

Development, financing, construction and operation of a 30MW PV power plant in partnership with FONSIS (Senegalese sovereign wealth fund) and Senergy SUARL (local developer). The financing company of a 25-year concession and an energy purchase contract (take or pay) with Senelec (out of service). Construction and maintenance are performed by Solairedirect under an EPC back to back contract.

Technologies used

The project consists of a fixed-tilt, ground-mounted photovoltaic plant with an installed module capacity of a 29,5 MWp, constructed on rural land with a total area of approximately 64 ha. The proposed plant design uses polycrystalline PV modules manufactured by Renesola central inverters and transformers manufactured by Scheinder Electric, and support structures manufactured by Optimum Tracker.
