In partnership with TIERI-Burkina, Sirea has designed a hybrid solar / diesel power station for the Electrification in the Sahel project, launched by IED.

The aim of this plant is to optimize the operating modes of the group, to avoid overloading by injection of solar energy in direct or solar energy stored in the batteries as well as underloads. The solution also optimizes the use of solar energy by storing surplus energy in the lower consumption phases. This contributes to saving fuel, optimizing maintenance with controlled operating regimes to avoid fouling or operation at high temperatures.
