The Australian subsidiary of Bouygues Construction won its first contract in the field of energy and services. It consits in the construction of three solar farms in the Australian state of New South Wales on behalf of the energy company Neoen. The project represents € 162 million, including a share for Bouygues of € 131 million for the design and construction of the three farms. The largest, consisting of 206,000 photovoltaic panels on 210 hectares, alone will produce 55 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 20,500 homes in energy.
