Goiânia - Goiás, BrazilPhotovoltaic solar
GreenYellow inaugurated a new solar photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the Assaí store in Goiânia, located in the western center of Brazil. This is GreenYellow's third solar power plant in Brazil.
With an installed capacity of 920 kWp, this plant will cover 40% of the electricity needs of the store thanks to its 2,880 panels. Indeed, the electricity generated will be directly consumed by the site.
It is the largest solar power plant in the country's urban areas. With this project, GreenYellow in Brazil achieved a real performance. Indeed, the plant was built at the same time as the store on which it is located. It was necessary to mobilize all the know-how of our experts in order to ensure a coordinated implementation of the construction works within a restricted schedule.
With the implementation of this project, GreenYellow achieved 1.2 MWp of installed capacity in Brazil in less than a year.
The Assaí brand continues the partnership initiated at the end of last year with GreenYellow, other projects are coming in the coming months.
