Centrale des Almadies

The company DAMAG chose GreenYellow for its first large-scale energy efficiency projects. The site of the Almadies benefits from an unprecedented assembly in Senegal: an energy performance contract (CPE) including the installation of a photovoltaic plant.

For this project, GreenYellow obtained the eligibility of the SUNREF program of green financing of the AFD, thanks in particular to the economic model selected: the third investment, which allows the realization of projects of energy efficiency of large and profitable for the " Operator of the site. Indeed, it is a virtuous model self-financed by the energy savings realized. A true partnership.

The project developed by GreenYellow optimizes the electrical consumption of the site while giving it access to the best technologies in active systems (lighting, cooling production, air conditioning and photovoltaic energy production). Consumption of the shopping center will be reduced by nearly 40%. These savings are guaranteed over time by GreenYellow through its Smart Building system.

The CEP set up by GreenYellow includes the installation of the largest photovoltaic roofing plant in Dakar. With a capacity of 122 kWp, with 700 m² of solar panels, it will cover 15% of the electricity needs of the site.
